Made from a blend of Touriga Nacional Franca, and Tinto Roriz, the wine is fortified with brandy during fermentation to boost the alcohol to about 20% and leave some residual sweetness. The result is a luscious wine with concentrated flavors of crushed, wild blackberries and cassis followed by warm leather, earth, tobacco, and spice notes.
