Menetou-Salon is a modestly unheralded appellation– predominated by Sauvignon Blanc– in comparison to its neighbor, Sancerre. Located a mere 20 minute drive southwest, the same highly prized stony soils run throughout both appellations attributing to pronounced minerality and racy acidity in the wines. For this cuvee, sustainably grown grapes are fermented and aged in stainless steel. Greeting you with aromas of lemon zest and wild flowers, the palate is refined and saline driven, with notes of  gooseberry, fresh cut grass, and flint. Try it alongside linguine with clams or spicy drunken noodles.
