Pomalo Wine Co. borrows their name from the colloquial term for relax, chill out, slow down used widely in coastal Croatia. Made from the typically full-bodied and tannic Plavina, this wine is a different expression of the grape – it’s light and juicy with notes of dark plum and cinnamon-raisin toast, finishing with soft, grippy tannins. We’d love it served chilled with grilled halloumi cheese over sauteed garlic greens and spicy beef kebabs.
