CloseThis family-run estate, dedicated primarily to the native Fiano grape, is organically stewarded by Ciro, his wife Rita, and his children Emma and Bruno. The grapes are hand picked from Ciro’s ‘backyard vineyard’ along the slopes of Summonte in Campania. A long, slow, spontaneous fermentation occurs over a period of sixty days prior to resting for five months in stainless steel then bottled with no fining or filtration. The nose fuses notes of stone fruit, fresh lemon, dried herbs, and a hint of sea salt. The palate is vivacious and chiseled, showcasing pronounced minerality and notes of grapefruit, underripe pear, and brine along with a subtle nuttiness. Pair with a blood orange burrata salad with crushed pistachios or a fresh lobster roll.
