CloseNotre Terre is the side project of Brunnhilde Claux, who got her start under Dominik Huber at Terroir al Limit in the Priorat before establishing her own label in the heart of the Minervois. At Courbissac she isolates a plot of Grenache that she was particularly fond of, for the Notre Terre (our land) cuvées. Practicing organic and biodynamic, this 100% Grenache Noir is fermented with ambient yeast, no temperature control which allows the scents of the farm to permeate the wine, and minimal sulfur. It’s light, fresh and juicy with fairly low tannins and an herbaceous, hibiscus tea-like undertone throughout. A versatile food wine, it goes great with a simple cheese platter, roast chicken or black bean soup with carrots, onions and a slice of avocado on top.
