CloseTranslated as “wine yourself, Envínate is founded by 4 winemakers who are college friends studying enology in 2005. The Envínate project focuses on exploring distinctive parcels mainly in the regions of Ribeira Sacra and the Canary Islands with the aim to make pure and authentic wines true to their terroir. Hand harvested from 1,000 meters elevation, old-vine parcels in Tenerife, the grapes are made of 90% Listán Prieto, 9% Listán Blanco, and 1% Tintilal, Each parcel is vinified separately and undergoes malolactic fermentation and 8 month aging in French barrique and concrete tank. The result is an easygoing, light-bodied wine with juicy cranberry, crushed herb, lively acidity, and barely discernible tannin. Pair well with BBQ & jamón.
