CloseAs the northernmost of the Beaujolais Crus, at 300m altitude overlooking the Saône Valley, Saint-Amour is known for producing light, floral Gamays with supple tannins and granitic minerality. Chermette is a fifth generation grower who adheres to long family traditions of sustainable farming with manual harvesting, indigenous yeasts, and semi-carbonic macerations in old foudres built by his great-grandfather. The 100% Gamay expresses juicy black cherry and raspberry flavors with a subtle violet note, followed by a dry, mineral-driven finish. Light-bodied yet versatile, it can be enjoyed year round with a wide range of dishes from pot-au-feu or moussaka to baked Camembert with herbs but on Valentine’s Day, it’s a must!
