Thierry and Isabelle Daulhiac inherited 15 hectares of hillside vineyards between the appellations of Monbazillac and Sainte-Foy, and have steadily transitioned away from traditional farming methods towards organic and biodynamic practices for which they are now certified. The grapes for Malbec Neo are harvested early to maintain acidity and undergo semi-carbonic maceration to produce a fresh, vibrant, fruit-forward wine. It’s aromatic, supple, medium bodied, with pure blackberry and blueberry flavors that are beautifully entwined with the wine’s fine tannic structure. Easygoing in character, it can be enjoyed with a slight chill alongside charcuterie or a rustic margarita pizza.
