A firm, medium-bodied blend of 60% Syrah, 20% Mourvedre and 20% old vine Carignan from the vineyards surrounding Domaine de la Bastide's fortified farmhouse which dates back to the crusading Templar Knights of the 12th century. This is a classic, Cotes-du-Rhone, the true French, blue-collar, working man's wine. A versatile wine that pairs well with roast chicken, eggplant or a gruyere cheeseburger!
