Grown in La Mancha in Spain, the Gulp/Hablo Orange is a collaboration between Hand Work wines and Bodegas Ponce. This Orange is grown from 50% Verdejo and 50% Sauvignon Blanc which are both grown following organic and biodynamic practices. The grapes see five to seven days of skin contact before pressing and fermentation in large wooden vats for eight months. The result is a beautifully balanced wine: juicy notes of passionfruit and orange blossom with a textured minerality and touch of grapefruit pith-bitterness from the skins. The perfect grab for a party or park day, the Gulp is pretty versatile and could be paired with hard cheeses, roasted veg, or sesame chicken.
