Rain comes from a small vineyard parcel that was among the first to plant Sauvignon Blanc in Marlborough back in the 1970’s. Now mature, it produces a wine that punches above its weight. Rain is packed with passionfruit, some grapefruit and just a hint of the grassy characteristics that are typically associated with Sancerre. Pairs well with a wide array of cheeses and fish from salmon and mackerel.
