CloseThe latest offering from Patrick Miller, "Centerbe" means "a hundred herbs" in Italian and is a style of botanical amaro found in Abruzzo. Patrick's version is very much inspired by Chartreuse, with botanicals like hyssop, mint, thyme, tarragon, coriander, dittany, lemon balm, and fennel are macerated in neutral grain spirits, and fresh herbs added at the end for color as well. Herbaceous and lightly bitter, this is the first amaro of this style to be made in New York. Rumor has it that, like the original Chartreuse, Patrick intends to pass on a different portion of the recipe to two trusted associates so that upon his passing, no one person will ever know the entire recipe. That's our story and we're sticking with it!
