This unique whisky from the Glenrothes Distillery was purchased in barrel by Gordon & Macphail then aged for 8 years in their warehouses in ex-Sherry and ex-Bourbon barrels. It's an excellent value that's light bodied with a pale gold color. On the nose and palate it emanates toasted malt with subtle aromas of green apples, fig, tobacco and coconut and a subtle hint of salty sea air and a clean, delicate finish.
