In collaboration with Leslie Merinoff Kwasnieski, co-founder of Matchbook Distilling, Hana Makgeolli introduces their first ever distillate, Hana Soju 60. A still strength Soju, aged in glass, it's traditionally made and carefully crafted from organically grown rice, nuruk and time. Born out of the desire to share the rich and bold possibilities of Jeontongju (traditional Korean alcohols), it's all at once, fruity, earthy and floral. Intense and complex, it reflects Alice and Leslie’s desire to represent the ingredients and their balance in the ferment in their purest form. Undiluted and unadulterated, it's exactly as it came straight off the still, but sip slowly - at 120 proof (60%abv), it packs a punch!
