Gnarly Vines' private single barrel (EE 3-1 distilled on 2-8-16) 8yr Empire Rye whiskey is made with a mash bill of 75% Pedersen Field Race Rye from Seneca Falls, 13% corn, 12% malted barley and then aged in 53 gallon barrels. Coming straight from the cask, this limited edition flask has a proof of 112, and features spicy, firm, woodsy notes and flavors of caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, hot pepper, dark cocoa, and dried berry.
