Named ‘Best New York Craft Cider’ at the 2016 New York Wine & Food Classic, Half Sour has the perfect balance between pure, delicious heirloom apple flavors and the sour, fermentation, briney notes that make hard ciders so much more pleasurable than non-alcoholic ciders. But in our opinion, it should be called Eighth Sour because it’s much more pleasurable than pungent. Aromas of wild flowers and honey are followed by a wave of citrus and pickled pear. Slightly off-dry with refreshing carbonation, it provides endless possibilities for pairings from Asian cuisine to burgers or burritos.
