NY Distilling 'Chief Gowanus' New Netherland Traditional Gin - Brooklyn, NY (200ml)
Chief Gowanus gin was created with the help of historian David Wondrich, who found a Dutch recipe dating back to 1809. Un-aged, double-distilled New York State Rye is put back into the pot and distilled for a third time with Juniper and cluster hops then finished in oak barrels for 3 months. The result is a complex gin with subtle sweetness, slightly floral notes and peppery finish. It makes a great variation in a Martini, Negroni or Greyhound but also try as a creative substitute for Rye in a Manhattan!
