Suntory is the parent company that makes Hakushu, Hibiki, and Yamazaki. Hakushu and Yamazaki are both single malts, Hibiki is their blend and means harmony in Japanese. Hibiki Japanese Harmony is made with malt whiskies from the Yamazaki and Hakushu distilleries, as well as grain whisky from the Chita distillery. The whiskies are drawn from 5 different types of cask, including American white oak, Sherry and Mizunara. It is Floral on the nose with honey, orange, cinnamon and a herbaceous note on the palate. Overall, it is a light whisky with a medium finish, great for sipping!
