The Botanist is made at Bruichladdich Distillery on the banks of Loch Indaal, Islay, aka the ‘Queen of the Hebrides.’ Greener and flatter than its neighboring islands, this fertile and varied landscape produces 22 hand-foraged local botanicals, including fresh mint and honey, that make this gin so unique. Their flavors and scents are the inspiration behind The Botanist. Augmented by classic botanicals such as orris root, cassia bark, coriander and juniper, this soulful gin, the first from Islay, makes a mean Martini but they also recommend it in a G&T with grapefruit and rosemary!
